Mayor’s Vlog | June 2021
In his second vlog, the Mayor of Louth, Councillor Darren Hobson, takes you along on two of his official duties at the start of his second year as Mayor.
The Mayor visits Louth’s Spout Yard to unveil a memorial to those affected during the flood that devastated the town in 1920 and commemorate those who lost their lives that day by planting a rosemary bush beneath the plaque.
He also visits the town’s parish church, St James, to celebrate the licensing and installation of the town’s new interim Priest in Charge during a service to mark his arrival in Louth.
