SALT BINS

To request the placement of a salt bin in your locality, in the first  instance you can place your request through the Town Council by contacting the Town Clerk who will take your request to a Town Council meeting for approval then pass on to Lincolnshire County Council.

Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) regulate and control the supply of salt and salt bins so all requests will be forwarded to them for final approval.

For further information, you can contact the Lincolnshire County Council Highways & Planning Customer Service Centre on:

01522 782070 or customer_services@lincolnshire.gov.uk

Or your local County Councillor on:

Councillor Mrs. Pauline Watson for Louth North - Tel: 01507 607815; or
Councillor John Hough for Louth South - Tel: 01507 358650

Please note that LCC have strict criteria re. the placement of salt bins and they may not deem the location you suggest to be suitable.
