The judges commented that despite the very wet spring and summer the gardens of entrants provided a very worthy display and were pleased that there were an increased number of entries this year. All of the successful entrants receive a trophy featuring an image of their garden, with the winners of each class also receiving a cup which can be kept for the year of their reign. Louth Town Council will be looking to include additional categories in future years to encourage sustainable planting, build on the success of this year and promote Louth In Bloom more widely.  The Lovely Louth Competition, organised by Louth Town Council, forms part of the Louth entry for the East Midlands In Bloom Competition, Large Towns category for which the results will be announced on September 12th 2012 at an Awards Presentation evening in Spalding.
