ELECTION OF MAYOR 2010

On Friday 14th May 2010 Louth Town Council elected Councillor Trevor Marris and Mrs. Barbara Marris to be its Mayor and Mayoress for the 2010/11 year.

Trevor Marris was elected onto the Council in May 1999.  He was Mayor in 2003/04 and during that previous Mayoral Year, he  launched the Louth Hospital Scanner Appeal and is still the Chairman of the Appeal.

He owns and runs a local carpet shop.  He is a past President of Louth Chamber of Business and held that position for 13 years.  Trevor has worked hard to keep Louth Town Shopping Centre a special place to shop and visit.
